Fort 12R – a specialized device that serves as a self-defense weapon and is designed to fire rounds loaded with rubber bullets intended to cause injury.

The pistol is made of high-quality steel and is designed to fire 50,000 rounds.

During the development of the “Fort-12” special device, certain modifications of Czech pistols manufactured at the factory were used as a basis Ceska Zbrojovka in the town of Uherský Brod by the Koučka brothers—Josef and František—who were engineers. They drew on the expertise and equipment of the same company CZ. Until 2002, the Czech Republic also purchased barrels for Ukrainian pistols.

Currently, barrel production is underway at the “Fort” Scientific and Production Association itself. The Fort’s firing mechanism is based on the firing mechanisms of pistols. CZ-75 and CZ-83. It allows for both automatic fire and single-shot fire with the hammer cocked.

The “Fort-12P” special device boasts excellent groupings at ranges of up to 5 meters and fairly good groupings at a range of 10 meters. At the maximum effective range of 10 meters, the dispersion is no more than 25 mm.
